1993 Buick LeSabre Blower Motor Resistor location and removal. In this video you will see that the Resistor which controls the flow of electricity to your blower motor is on the firewall side underneath that big row of main fuses. You have to remove the 10 mm bolts holding that panel to the firewall and it will pull forward. Underneath you will see the resistor. Diagrams at the dealership and parts stores were of no help. I hope this helps you avoid a ton of lost time that I went through just to find it. In my case the unit was still good…but the connections were corroded. I used a small wire brush and a knife to clean them up. I had also had a previous problem with one of the plugs that goes into the unit. One of the connectors fried. So you will see my spliced wire solution. I hope this helps.
